   Southwestern Power Administration provides a current day schedule online and by telephone at 866-494-1993 – to keep the public informed about estimated generation at the projects from which they schedule power. The number of megawatts to be generated, and consequently, the rate at which water is released, is subject to change as demand for power increases or decreases. In addition, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers may schedule releases for purposes other than hydropower.
